Locating Data per Country

Locating data per country can be helpful for:

  • Tracking inventory levels
  • Forecasting demand
  • Complying with regulations
  • Optimizing shipping costs
  • Making better marketing decisions
  • Taxes
  • Etc…

If you need to locate data per country, the two most common options are as follows.

Segmenting:

With both methods, you will need to use the segment feature to target your desired group of backers. Below is how you can segment for those orders and the two filters you will want to use (you can use as many as necessary depending on your needs):

  • “backer status is”: Depending on where your backers are located will determine what statuses you’ll choose for the ‘backers status is’ filter
  • “from any of these regions”: You can select the countries you want to include in the segment

  • To learn more about segmenting, you may find the following resources helpful:

Method 1: Using Pivot Tables

Step 1: Export the preferred Report

Once the segment is created, click into the 'export reports' tab within the segment and download the preferred export.

Step 2: Create a Pivot Table

Open the export in your preferred spreadsheet platform and then access the pivot tables. The 'Address Country' field should be in the row area of the pivot table & the preferred data field should be in the values area of the pivot table.

Here are some tutorials on how to create pivot tables in different spreadsheet platforms:

Method 2: Using Segments for the Preferred Export

If pivot tables aren't your thing, you can still find your data per country using our exports. Here's how:

Step 1: Download the Required Export

  1. Create a segment for each region where you need your data separated.
  2. Once your segment is saved, go to the 'Export Reports' tab within that segment.
  3. Locate the preferred export and download it.

Step 2: Review the Export

  1. Open the downloaded file.
  2. You'll find the required data separated by the regions you've selected. No pivot table needed!

By following these steps, you can determine the data you need to be sent to each country, enabling you to manage your inventory, forecast demand, comply with regulations, optimize shipping costs and taxes, and make better marketing decisions.
