How do I update my shipping address?

In Your BackerKit Account

You should be able to update the address for projects with unlocked addresses using this method:

1. Login to your BackerKit account here.

2. Go to Settings in the top-right corner of your account. 

3. From there, click "Update Address". This will update your address across all unlocked projects.

Please note, the above steps will not work if the creator has state based shipping fees/taxes enabled, even if the address has not been locked down. This means that your balance may change, so an admin will need to update it to ensure any outstanding balances are processed. If you notice that the address did not update within a survey, please contact our BackerKit support team with the following shipping address template filled out to ensure your address is updated correctly:

Address Line 1:
Address Line 2:
City:
State / Province:
Zip / Postal Code:
Country:
Phone Number (For shipping purposes):

If a project creator has already Locked Addresses, please contact them directly through their Campaign Page, or direct message requesting an address change. In some cases, you may not be able to update after locking addresses as the information has already been sent to a Fulfillment Partner.


In Your Survey

To update your shipping information, click on your BackerKit survey confirmation link that was sent to your email. If you need this link to resent, please go to our survey recovery page here.

If your address is open, you can see and click 'Edit Shipping Info' to update your shipping details. To update the country or state, please contact the BackerKit support team for assistance. Since project creators charge different shipping rates depending on the country/state, only our admin team can update this information. Pro-tip: Some backers can get their country and state to change by updating their Zip Code! 

If your address is locked, please contact the BackerKit support team for assistance with your new shipping details or message the Project Creator through the original campaign page with your new address for the fastest resolution!
