How do I edit survey answers or add-ons for backers?
Occasionally, a backer may contact you to make a change to the answers to their survey questions. You can re-open the survey for your backer or edit the answer for them. To learn more about re-opening a survey for a backer, see How do I allow backers to make changes after their order is locked?

How do I edit survey answers for pledge items?
To edit a survey answer for a pledge item:
- Click Backers on the lefthand side of your Dashboard.
- Or use the Search Bar at the top of your Dashboard.
- Search for the backer by their name, email address, notes, or pledge ID.
- Click their name and their order will open.
- Under Pledge Level, next to Pledge Questions, click the Edit link.
- This will open the backer's survey to the Pledge Questions page.
- Make the requested changes and click 'Next' to save answers.
- To get back to the admin page, click the backer's name from the grey bar at the top of your browser window.
- Under Pledge Questions, verify the changes.
- Click Save.
How do I edit add-on items in a backer's survey?
To edit add-on items from the backer's admin Order Page:
- From Dashboard, lefthand menu, click Backers.
- Or use the Search Bar at the top of your Dashboard.
- Search for the backer by their name, email address, notes, or pledge ID.
- Click their name and their order page will open.
- Under Add-ons, click the Edit link with little pencil.
- This opens up the Backer's survey to the Add-ons Page.
- Make the requested changes and click 'Next' to save changes. You do not need to complete the survey.
- If you removed add-ons and need to issue a refund, please check out this help article "How do I process refunds?"
- If you added items, and backer now has a balance owed, you can click their name from the grey bar at the top of their survey to be taken back to admin order page. To manually charge, click blue 'Charge' button.
- On Admin order page, under Add-ons, verify the changes.
