How do I hide add-ons from certain regions?

You can configure add-ons to be visible only to backers from certain countries/regions. Please note that this is a beta feature and it may not work in all situations. Please see the note below for details.

To enable:

Go to Customize Add-Ons on the sidebar of your project.
Click Shipping Profiles
Click Shipping Regions
Click Create a New Shipping Region and then name the region.
Add all countries to this region that you want to hide the add-on(s) from.
Click Save.
Click Advanced Shipping
Under Add-on Region Hiding, find the add-on in question and select the appropriate region from the drop-down.
Click Save.

When backers answer the survey for the first time, if they enter an address with a country that is part of this excluded region, the add-ons you chose will not appear in the add-ons section of the backer's survey.

Note: Backers who choose a country, select an add-on, and then re-enter the survey later on and choose a new blocked country, the add-on will not automatically remove itself from their cart. Also, this beta feature will not work for BackerKit Pre-order store or for backers in the No Reward pledge level, only for the add-ons that appear in the survey to your original campaign backers.
