How does Launch determine who receives an email campaign?

If this is not your first project and you've imported your previous projects into Launch, then BackerKit can detect pledges from any of your previous backers (regardless of whether they pledged via Launch or through other sources). BackerKit then filters out those backers from subsequent email campaigns to make sure that ONLY members that haven't pledged to your current project will receive additional emails asking them to pledge.
