How to Read the Funding Summary Page

The funding summary page (located under "Live Stats" on your BackerKit Crowdfunding dashboard) provides an overview of your project's funding details in one place.

While your project is live, this page will be blank.

Within 24 hours of your project ending, your backers will be charged for their pledges (more on that here).

On the "Stripe" page (under "Project —> Stripe"), you'll see an overview of what funds have been successfully charged, what charges have failed, and how many "uncharged" funds you have.

In the example above, "Uncharged" means this project has 3 backers that have not confirmed their User account. Our platform does not charge backers with unconfirmed email addresses. Those backers will have already received an automated reminder to confirm their email.

Failed backers also recieve an automatic reminder to fix their payment. For backers that aren’t able to fix their payments in a 14 day period after the campaign is over, they will be imported into the pledge manager with $0 credit, where they'll have a chance to reinstate their pledge.

After 14 days (how long backers have to correct failed payments), your "Funding Summary" page will update to include your estimated payout (how much you've raised minus fees, failed charges, uncharged cards, and any refunds you may have issued).

For the most accurate information/breakdown of campaign funds, you should visit your Stripe dashboard where you can download more comprehensive reports.
