Troubleshooting Common Issues
1. Code not working
- Wait for a new code: Sometimes, the code generated by your authenticator app or sent via SMS may expire. Wait for a new code and try again.
- Check time settings: Ensure that the time settings on your device are correct. Authenticator apps use time-based codes, and incorrect time settings can lead to codes not working.
- Re-sync your authenticator: Some authenticator apps allow you to manually resynchronize your accounts. Try this option in your app settings.
2. Lost access to your 2FA method
- Recovery codes: When setting up 2FA you received a list of backup codes. To use them, click "I lost my authentication device", and use one of these codes to access your account.
- Contact support: If you continue to have issues after using your backup codes, or cannot find your backup codes, contact support for further troubleshooting.
