How it works
- In pre-launch, you offer the reservation reward on your Launch Party page (e.g. FREE dice with your $1 reservation)
- Fans pay a small amount (e.g. $1–$5) to reserve their special perk(s).
- At launch, fans return and pledge with their reward automatically added to their cart for easy checkout
BackerKit Pre-Launch Reservation is a powerful expansion of our existing pre-launch features, like BackerKit Launch Party, which help turn your fans into campaign followers, and those followers into backers.
Please note that any funds collected via reservations will not carry over to the live campaign as credit or count toward your funding.

Setup Steps
- Connect Stripe, verify your identity, and enable Launch Party
- Write in for approval & when approved...
- Create the Item on your Items Page.
Navigate to Incentives and create the Pre-Launch Reservation. If digital/low-cost pledge levels are not eligible for the reservation incentive, you can exclude them during set up.
