I invested in the BackerKit WeFunder, how do I redeem the discount towards platform fees?

If you invested in the BackerKit WeFunder at the $5,000 investment level or higher, you can redeem a credit of 10-20% of your Crowdfunding by BackerKit platform fees!

🎁 How It Works

Invest $5K or more in BackerKit and you’ll receive a rolling platform credit equal to your investment. That credit can be applied toward up to 10–20% of your crowdfunding platform fees per campaign until it runs out. It never expires.

Platform fee discounts increase with the amount you invest:

• For investments of $5-50k, creators will receive 10% off your crowdfunding platform invoices up to the invested amount
• For investments of $100-500k, creators will receive 15% off your crowdfunding and add on fees up to the invested amount
• For investments of $1,000,000 or more, creators will receive 20% off your crowdfunding platform and addon fees up to the invested amount.

📊 Let’s break it down with this example:

• Your investment: $5,000
• Platform credit: $5,000
• Campaign fees owed: $20,000
• Discount per campaign: 10% off your platform invoice
• 10% of $20,000 = $2,000 discount applied
• Remaining credit: $5,000 – $2,000 = $3,000 left to use on future campaigns

These credits apply to platform and add-on fees for BackerKit Crowdfunding projects only. They’re designed to reward those who actively use BackerKit Crowdfunding to launch projects. You’ll see them as cash back or statement credits applied to other fees.

You can gift your credit to another creator. So if you’re more of a supporter than a campaigner, you can still give a meaningful boost to someone launching their next big idea.
