What should I say in my email and landing page for BackerKit Launch?

BackerKit Launch will generate emails and landing pages for you with pre-written copy--what works best is if you customize it. The more of your own personality you can show through your writing, the more responsive your backers will be. You can also customize your landing page to include additional content to get previous backers excited about your upcoming project.

Let's take a look at our recommended email campaigns and what you should consider adding for the email and landing pages :

What kind of incentives can I send to my backers?

  • You can give BackerKit Credit or a digital/physical reward (such as a pin or sticker pack).
  • BackerKit Credit can be redeemed by backers after your Kickstarter or IndieGoGo crowdfunding project is over, and you send them a BackerKit Survey. In the survey, backers who add additional items can redeem the BackerKit Credit amount they were offered.
  • We suggest giving backers at least $1 BackerKit Credit. This discount will be given to backers will be from your total profit from the additional items are you selling.
  • If you give an incentive, (and after your crowdfunding project ends) remember to let your Success Representative know that you used this feature, and apply the incentive so backers redeem it in their survey.
