How can I close my project in the Pledge Manager?

If you are done fulfilling rewards to your backers and would like to close your project's pledge manager, you can do so by following the steps below. Closing the pledge manager will prevent all backers from accessing their surveys, including any digital rewards that have been distributed, and closes the Pre-order Store, so please use with caution!

Instead of closing the entire pledge manager, especially if digital rewards were distributed, you can 'Close Surveys' for a specific group of backers using the Segment Actions tools.

Create a Segment of backers you wish to close surveys for (Failed Payments and Incomplete surveys). Once named and saved, under Segment Actions, click 'Close Surveys'. Learn more here.

Steps to close BackerKit Pledge Manager:

1. Go to Settings on the sidebar of your project.
2. Click on Close Project tab.
3. Check Set your project to be 'Closed'.
4. Click Save. 

Once your project is closed, survey reminders and project update emails will be stopped. Also, the Pre-Order Store will be closed if you are still accepting orders.
