Exports: How do I export information to upload into Zatu?
If you are using Zatu to fulfill your rewards, the following steps will help you export backer information from BackerKit and prepare the file to send to the Zatu team.
- In BackerKit go to Fulfillment, you will need to be on the “Manual Export” method
- You can switch between fulfillment methods by clicking the drop down “Switch Fulfillment Method” in the upper right corner
- Click on the “1. Export tab”, here you can decide if you want to export all the ready to fulfill backers or a segment of backers
- Download the SKU per Line, this file must be modified to comply with the Zatu, found here
- Remove the following columns
- Full Address
- Pledged At
- Notes
- SKU Name
- Add new columns
- Insert a column after Backer ID, this will create a new B column, this column will be called “Company”
- Use for company names when applicable, leave blank when there is no company name
- Insert a column after C, this will create a new D column, this column will be called “Last Name”
- This will be used for the next step when we split columns
- Insert a column after Backer ID, this will create a new B column, this column will be called “Company”
- Split the name column so first and last name are in different columns
- Name the columns “First Name” and “Last Name”
- Move the following columns
- Address Country to column I (address postal code will now be column J)
- Email to column K (phone number will now be column L)
- Any columns you didn’t move will now be in the right spot
Once your file has been prepared reach out to your contact at Zatu with the file.
When the orders have been fulfilled, you can upload the tracking number into BackerKit to assign the tracking number to the backer and mark them as fulfilled.
