When will I receive my funds after charging cards in Pledge Manager?

After you charge credit cards in Pledge Manager, you should see the funds right away in your Stripe dashboard. You can then transfer funds to your bank account within your Stripe account. Depending on your Payout Schedule settings in Stripe, the wait time may differ but typically it takes 3-5 business days for funds to be deposited from Stripe into your connected bank account.

Please note that BackerKit automatically takes the 3.5% transaction free on all funds raised in the pledge manager before the final funds are sent to your Stripe account. Check out our Pricing Page to learn more about the transaction fee. 

Note: You won’t receive payment for any pledge manager funds (add-on sales, shipping, etc) until after you charge credit cards.

Troubleshooting

I've charged cards in the pledge manager - why can't I see the funds in my Stripe account?

• Double check which email is associated to the Stripe account you connected in the pledge manager (Set Up Payments tab)
• Did you launch your original campaign on BackerKit Crowdfunding? If so, you may be looking in the wrong place:
  • For pledge funds raised on BackerKit Crowdfunding, please check your Stripe Express account, which is accessible via the Payment Setup page on the original campaign dashboard.
  • For pledge manager funds (post-campaign), please check out your Stripe Connect account, which is accessible via the Setup Payments page in the pledge manager.
