Creating Invoice for Backers
As a creator, you might need to share invoices with your backers. Invoices provide transparency and accountability, facilitate tax reporting, resolve disputes, and comply with regulations. This can be done in a few different ways:
Print Out Confirmation
Creators can print out a copy of their confirmation by accessing their original survey link and clicking "View Confirmation" in the upper right corner. From there, they can print their confirmation page to include their address, transaction info, products, and costs. There is a print icon in the upper right corner of their confirmation page to help with this.
Pack List
You can pull a backer's Pack List directly from their order and it will also show their address, transaction info, products, and costs ordered. To pull a Pack List, click on the link above the Items on the right side of the order details.
If the backer needs a document with only specific order details showing, you can use the checkboxes at the top to customize the information included.
Batch Export Pack List - Via Segments
If you need to export a pack list for a large number of backers, use the segmenting tool. You can create & save the segment of backers you need and use the ‘export reports tab to locate the ‘pack list’ export.

Stripe Receipt
If the previous two options do not provide the backer with the details they need, you can also send the backer a receipt from Stripe, if the backer used Stripe to pay through the survey. To send a Stripe receipt, click on the "View Transaction on Stripe" link in the payment section of the order details.
Once you are in Stripe, you should see the transaction listed. Click on the three dots to the far right and select "Send Receipt" from the drop-down menu.
