How Do I Mark My Order as Fulfilled?
Many “super backers” use the “Your Pledges & Surveys” page in their Account Settings to keep track of which projects are still outstanding and which are already fulfilled. When fulfillment status isn’t updated, it can leave projects sitting in “Your Surveys” instead of “Past Surveys” regardless of receiving your rewards.

This article explains why that happens and what BackerKit Support can do to help clean up your list.
Can I manually mark a project as received?
Right now, there is no way for backers to mark a project as received or fulfilled directly from their BackerKit account.
We know this would be especially helpful if you back many projects and want a clear list of what’s still outstanding, or have received digital rewards. This type of enhancement is already on our radar. While we can’t promise if or when that feature will be introduced, your feedback helps us prioritize future improvements.
Who controls survey status management?
BackerKit Crowdfunding is a Crowdfunding platform, in addition to a pledge manager that creators use to send surveys, collect addresses, and manage orders. While creators use our services to collect shipping, BackerKit Crowdfunding is not involved in fulfillment directly.
- Project creators are responsible for shipping rewards, deciding when fulfillment is complete, and updating surveys to reflect this. BackerKit does not have insider visibility into fulfillment beyond Project Updates or your survey status.
- A project moves from "Your Surveys" into "Past Surveys" only when it's marked as fulfilled in BackerKit by the creator, or Support, if you request it.
Because that step is manual, not all creators remember to return to update statuses after they begin shipping, especially for digital rewards.
If your reward has shipped, and your survey has not been moved over:
- The creator shipped rewards but never updated the project’s status in BackerKit
- The project was digital-only (PDFs, codes, keys), and the creator distributed rewards without marking them as fulfilled in BackerKit.
- The project is still in progress and hasn’t actually finished fulfillment yet, even if you’ve received yours.
BackerKit cannot automatically tell when your package arrives or when you’ve accessed a digital reward. If the creator doesn’t update the status, your project will remain in “Your Surveys” by default.
What to do next:
If you’ve already received your rewards for a project, reach out to Backer Support! We can manually mark those orders as fulfilled for you on our end to move it into “Past Surveys.”
When you reach out to us, please include:
- The project name(s) that you’d like marked as fulfilled.
- Direct links to the main project campaign page are helpful, but not necessary
- Associated email address, your name and/or pledge number
Once we confirm that your rewards are complete, we can manually mark those orders as fulfilled on our side. This can make your active list feel much more accurate and manageable!
