Which fulfillment services does BackerKit support?

BackerKit provides integration with the following services:

• Shipwire

• Shopify
• Easyship

How do I set up the connection between BackerKit and my fulfillment service?

To connect with your fulfillment service:

1. On the menu on the left, click Start Shipping.
2. Under Select a Fulfillment Method, click Fulfillment Integration.
3. Click the Connect to Services tab.
4. Click Add New Connection.
5. Select your fulfillment service.
6. Provide the information required by the service to log in.
7. Click Save.

How do I send orders to my fulfillment service?

Before sending your orders, make sure all your backer surveys are finalized and all orders have been marked as ready to ship. For more information, see How do I finalize shipping addresses?

To send your orders:

1. On the menu on the left, click Start Shipping.
2. Under Select a Fulfillment Method, click Fulfillment Integration.
3. Click the Process All Orders or Process Orders by Package Group tab.
4. Click Push all <number> Ready to Ship orders.

How do I update the status of my orders?

Order statuses update automatically once a day.

To update order status immediately:

1. On the menu on the left, click Start Shipping.
2. Under Select a Fulfillment Method, click Fulfillment Integration.
3. Click the Process All Orders or Process Orders by Package Group tab.
4. Click the Update order status link.

Can I edit my SKUs to meet the requirements of my fulfillment service?

Your fulfillment service may require changes to the SKUs generated by BackerKit in order to fulfill your items. In BackerKit, SKUs are set up automatically when you create your items. For more information, see Overview: SKUs.

You can edit your SKUs to match the SKUs of your fulfillment service without affecting the names of the items. Don’t delete any used SKUs.
